Spooky Moonlight Maze

For those who’ve enjoyed the wholesome fun of Harbes Farm & Orchard in the daytime, you may not know that its lovely corn maze has a sinister side that can be seen only on certain fall weekend nights.

From 7pm-9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights from Columbus Day weekend through 10/28, ghouls and wraiths patrol the corn maze, thwarting your passage. Without a flashlight, you’d be lost (you might be anyway – it’s a maze) so it’s important to bring one with you, or you can buy one at the farm. Should you survive the experience, you can reward yourself with hot cider and fresh apple cider donuts (or maybe a caramel apple or kettle corn.)

If you want to scare up some tamer fun, Robin Hood’s band of merry men and women can be found in the maze by day, steering visitors on a twisting, turning medieval adventure while outwitting the Sheriff of Nottingham. Daytime maze operates on weekends from 9 am to 6 pm in September and October; admission is $10 for adults; $8 for children 3-12 (2 and under are free).

Before you go, if the weather looks iffy, make sure to check the website or call ahead.
