That 70's Band at Suffolk Theater
Don’t touch the hair — it’s Saturday Night Fever at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead on Saturday, January 27. We’re not talking about the movie, but a full-on boogie wonderland of live music from That 70’s Band. You don’t have to wear a polyester shirt and platform shoes (although feel free if you’re so inclined), you just have to love the music that had everyone dancing through the decade of the mirrored hanging ball.
Playing the hottest hits from disco and funk, this band will have you movin’ and a’groovin like you were Stayin’ Alive in 1975. Dance along as they cover the biggest hits of the biggest groups of the era. Earth, Wind and Fire. The Commodores. KC and the Sunshine Band. Kool & the Gang. That 70’s Band brings all that great dance music back to life with a powerful vocal front line backed by a tight rhythm section and slammin’ horns.
Before you know it, your fingers will be snapping, your toes will be tapping, and an invisible force will get you up to dance, dance, dance. The show starts at 8 pm, so honey don’t be late. Seated tickets range from $29-$42, Standing Room tickets are $29, and the smiles and memories are free. For more info, check out the Suffolk Theater website at:
