Lewin Farms Pick Your Own

Is there anything as summery and delicious as eating fresh raspberries, warmed from the sun and just picked from the bush? Yes, eating blueberries, blackberries and peaches at the same farm. It’s something everyone should experience at least once. And one of the best places to do it is at Long Island’s own Lewin Farms.

Lewin Farms is the grandpa of the You Pick farm on Long Island, or the great great grandpa, as it’s now in its fourth generation. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, Lewin Farms grows them all. The only catch is that not all the fields are always ripe for picking, so it’s important you call ahead.

You need to call the farm at 631-929-4327 to learn which days and times the fields will be open for picking. And visit their website at to learn which crops are in season during which months. U-pick fields generally open from 9am - 4:30pm. If you don’t feel like picking or you want to load up on the freshest fruits and veggies for snacks, salads and dinner, a trip to the farmstand is a must. Farmstand hours are 9am to 5pm everyday, but closed on Tuesdays. Farm Stand will open on Friday, May 25th.
