What says July more than a day at the beach? And what beach is more perfect for a summer day than a place rated as one of America’s top beaches by both Dr. Beach and Trip Advisor? That’s Cooper’s Beach in the beautiful town of Southampton.
Cooper’s offers the best of most beaches — soft sand, ocean waves and breezes, beautiful vistas. But what sets it apart are those stunning views of the sea — and glimpses of some of the country’s most spectacular seaside homes of the rich and famous. You’ll also find beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, lifeguards, and concession stands with hot and cold foods, beverages and snacks. (Trip Advisor says try the French fries.)
If you’re not a town resident, beach parking can be pricey. If you visit Coopers Beach between May 15 and September 15, you will be required to pay $50 per day. But it’s a lot cheaper than buying a house in Southampton, and for a day, you can have the same view.
