Montauk Lighthouse Triathlon

Race to the tip of the South Fork in the Annual Montauk Lighthouse Triathlon!

The scenic course starts with a half mile swim in the Block Island Sound, followed by a 14 mile bike around Lake Montauk and ends with a tree-lined 3.1 mile run to the lighthouse, at the top of Turtle Hill. Afterwards celebrate with family and friends at the awards ceremony with trophies, raffles & a continental breakfast. Race starts at 6:30 am with an Awards ceremony and raffle at 9:30 am.

The Triathlon benefits the Montauk Lighthouse, the oldest light in New York State and the 4th oldest in the nation. It was built in 1796 and was designated a National Historic Monument in 2012. The 1860 keeper’s house is now a museum with an assortment of many historical photographs and documents.

All participants must obtain their race pack at pre-race check in for the race ahead of time. No race day check-in or race day registration. Register online here:
