Bluegrass & BBQ with the Edith and Bennett Band

Soak in the final sounds of summer and kick off your Labor Day weekend with a performance by the Edith & Bennett Band at the Parrish. Two musicians and worksong scholars who together play old-time fiddle, banjo music and more. Bring some lawn chairs and blankets and say good-bye to summer with their old-time sound.

Delicious barbecue and specialty drinks will be for sale at the Café, so come hungry for good food and great tunes. The concert kicks off at 6pm and is free with museum admission and take place rain or shine. The museum itself features more than 12,000 square feet of exhibition space in its new home that opened in late 2012. The permanent collection showcases the works of artists from eastern Long Island, which the museum calls “America’s most enduring and influential artists’ colony.”
